Snail racing is a relative newcomer to the fundraising scene, first appearing in 1999. Snail races are virtual race nights/animated cartoons, like a computer game and don't feature real snail footage.

In comparison to other race night DVDs these are quite expensive to hire, ranging in price from £75 (4 races) to £177 (8 races).

Snail race night packages are available from two suppliers in the UK, Fun Nights Inc and Fundeo. The race nights are virtually identical although they differ in price slightly.
